My son was proud of his dad.

My son Christian was so proud of his dad he wrote this in 2008 and it was so very sweet of him to think of Andy, but he knew without a doubt that Andy was his hero coming back from Iraq each time unscathed but not without a close call in 2003 when 2/4 was the first to cross the berm and pursue it's mission in Iraq! enjoy

Dear God,

In this prayer I ask you please to watch over my family and me,
Also please be an Angel to my Dad , He has it good and sometimes bad,
My Daddy is my Hero you see for he watches out for our family and me.
My Daddy is a Man of strength A man with integrity and love for me.
Hes serving so far from home He watches our Borders and our home!! He is From the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.
I am so very proud of my Daddy  as you see, For he fights for my rights to be free.
So tonight when you make your rounds Hug my Daddy tight whisper softly to him " Your child is safe Im watching him you see with the love of my father ,soon he will see your selfless protection of the USA , you will be a hero forever in his heart and in his eyes!"
No I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my daddy is safe Keep watching him while I sleep and blanket him with love that he can freely keep!

The last words he said to his dad.

The last words Christian said to his dad were , I will email you the directions to download the mappacks for Black Ops download so he could play on the weekends with the boys and Mike and Matthew, it was on the Friday before Memorial Day, friends were already hanging out we started the grill up early kids stayed home from school, and several of Christian's friends were over, after he told his Dad he would send an email, he said to Andy, I love you dad, I have to go but I will email you the directions ok dad love you see you online!
Even thousands of miles away Andy always stayed connected with the kids all of them, everyone had a PS3 and they would stay up playing blackops with their dad it was something they could do and still be connected over the miles between them.
Little did Andy know it would be the last time he spoke to his son, whom was found on Monday Memorial Day 2010 my son who had been demeaned with a kind of hatred that I still can't get over someone even saying "You need to just go ahead and kill yourself and get it over with" I was not raised that was and those words were just not acceptable for someone to say ever at all to anyone.
On Monday Memorial day I got up @ about 8am and started the task of getting everything prepped we had made plans with our neighbors to grill and since I love to cook I volunteered to make several things, Christian came into the kitchen all 6'3" of him came up and put his arms around my waist  leaning his chin on my head and said Hey Mom I love you ,you know that right? and I said, Honey Daddy didnt get paid yet so we cant go to gamestop, and hugged me tight and said No mom I love you, YOU KNOW that right???? and I said I love you too honey he stood there for a significant amount of time and then asked me where Hunter was I told him in his room playing video games and he went and found him and played games with him and spent time with his little sister making sure she knew he loved her and he told her never let ANYONE tell her any different that he loved her no matter what, after he was found she kept crying telling me I didnt know momma I didnt know well it broke my heart he always had time for Hunter and Faith and losing her big brother shortly after  losing her momma was alot for a little girl to deal with they died about 3 months apart and she was devastated.
Christian was a significant part of this family, he loved his dad and would tell him all the time he couldnt wait for R&R so we could go back to Busco Beach with Auntie and Uncle ,or show him tricks he had practiced on his board! Christian was even one of the first SK8er Shack sponsored kids in Killeen and he loved it.
I can't bring him back,BUT I can hold those responsible to protect him in their schools accountable and I intend to do so...

I miss you MrBlueeyes we all miss you...

He was our Everything.

He was our glue ,He could make you laugh even if you did not want to.
He would make you smile if you weren't smiling.
He was concerned when you didn't look ok.
He was his little brother Hunter's buddy no matter how busy he got.
He loved his little sister and protected her like brig brothers do.
He had goals in life to be a proboarder, play for the University of Florida, and to be an extreme sport player(he would've done it too)
He was never ashamed to say I love you mom to me or to his siblings in public or alone or infront of his friends.
He loved his family and his family loved him, and now we fight, fight because they SAID they would, when in reality they didnt give a rats ass and should've said no, I would've pulled him and figured it out later.
Now I do not trust anything that comes from someone who is employed by any ISD or District, and I have told my kids if someone is bullying you give em a warning, and if they keep it up, I got their back.
I taught my son to be whom he wanted to be and he did, I also taught my son don't hit tell, I wish I had told him to kick Ross,Evan and Michaels asses because they would've been very surprised at the agility and strength Christian had, they were lightwieghts compared to the 5 who got their asses handed to them in Killeen in front of the whole complex.

Mr Blueeyes, I love you and miss you every second of every minute of every hour of everyday!
Love Mom
